Ingredients
- ¼ cup mastic liqueur such as Mastika Liqueur
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 6 basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons crushed ice
Instructions
- In a blender, add the mastic liqueur, sugar, lemon juice and 4 basil leaves.
- Liquidize the above ingredients
- Add crushed ice to a tall glass.
- Pour the liquidized ingredients into the glass.
- Top the ingredients with soda water.
- Garnish with 2 basil leaves

Tip This beverage is perfect as a pre-dinner drink as well as after dinner since mastic is known for its soothing gastric qualities.
Serving Suggestions This wonderful drink is best served in chilled tall glasses on a hot summer day.
